Our 5-Step Installation Process
We've refined our workflow to make getting backup power as easy as possible for Highland Lakes homeowners.
1. Free Site Assessment
We visit your property to calculate your power load, identify the best generator location, and check gas/electric meter placement.
2. Permitting & HOA
We handle all paperwork. From city electrical permits to HOA architectural review board applications, we ensure full compliance.
3. Site Prep & Delivery
Our team pours a concrete pad or sets a composite base, trenches for lines, and delivers your Generac unit safely.
4. Installation & Connection
Certified electricians and plumbers connect the fuel line and transfer switch, adhering to all local building codes.
5. Activation & Training
We perform a full startup test, simulate an outage, and teach you how to monitor your system using Mobile Link™.

Installation FAQs
How long does the installation take?
Once permits are approved (which varies by city), the physical installation typically takes 1-2 days. The entire process from contract to completion usually spans 2-4 weeks.
Do I need to be home during installation?
Yes, we will need access to your main electrical panel and gas meter. We'll coordinate a convenient time for you.
Will my yard be dug up?
We do need to trench for electrical and gas lines, but our team takes great care to minimize disruption and restore your landscaping as best as possible.
What about noise?
Generac generators are engineered for quiet operation. We also consider noise ordinances and neighbor proximity when selecting the installation site.
